HAVE A GREAT RELATIONSHIP. I HAVE NOTHING BUT EXTREME CONFIDENCE IN HIM TO DO HIS JOB AND I AM DOING MY JOB. HE PLAYS VERY HARD. HARD TO SAY BUT CLEVELAND BROWN

The Pittsburgh Steelers played this season with some very un-Steelers-like goals. A winning streak would be the start. Maybe a late spurt to avoid coach Mike Tomlin’s first losing season. The Steelers (4-7) will look to string together their first winning streak of the season when they travel to Atlanta on Sunday to take on the Falcons (5-7). to put these wins together, guys, and keep going,” Tomlin said. Three games out of both the AFC North lead and the wild-card race, Pittsburgh needs a remarkable turnaround to reach the playoffs for the 10th time in Tomlins 16 years. The Steelers need to win five of their last six just to avoid a losing record, which has not happened in Pittsburgh since 2003 under Bill Cowher. From a record standpoint, the Falcons (5-7) aren’t much better than Pittsburgh. Some random geography gives Atlanta a much better chance to make the playoffs. The Falcons are just a half-game behind Tampa Bay in the weak NFC South, where none of the four teams have a winning streak. “These situations don’t happen very often,” quarterback Marcus Mariota said. “To be able to make progress and be a consistent team playing games like this, you have to understand the situation and play with a little bit of urgency.” As the Steelers beat Indianapolis last Monday night, the Falcons were trying to bounce back from a disappointing 19-13 loss in Washington. On second and goal with 4 minutes left, Mariota’s deflected pass was picked off in the end zone to deny Atlanta a chance to win the game. The Falcons were able to get the ball again, but Ade Ogundeji ran into the Commander’s kick
