And 11 minutes after the restart, Dinnie proved effective as he played a neat one-two with Hogan and one-on-one with Bialkowski.
Etheridge was forced into a good save from Afobe but had no chance against Evans Hauter with a quarter of an hour to go.
Christian Pedersen beat Danny McNamara and pulled Evans back to take a brilliant corner.

The miss was not as bad as Chuks Aneke’s when he took Bialkowski’s shot, but in the last two minutes he left the net unattended.
There were few chances to score in the first half, but Sark did not look comfortable with the ball at his feet as he was exposed by two players. Had good tackles from Bradshaw and Afobe in the second half.
It wasn’t going to be a comfortable evening for Wolverine, who had to show his physicality rather than his technical prowess. But he was ready to fight back and stood his ground when he was left one-on-one in the second period.
For most games, comfort looks sick. Afobe’s movement has caused him problems, as has Bradshaw’s steadfast determination.

A key tackle in the first half prevented Afobe from breaking free, but when he moved into defense he made it difficult for Wallace and McNamara.
He stepped up at full-back in the first half – but the full-back was asking too much. He tried from inside to bring offensive prowess but was unsuccessful.
The 17-year-old did what he had to do as Millwall’s opposition lined up against some of the Championship’s strongest midfielders. It was a tough physical fight but he was able to show his mobility as he moved to Diamond’s side.
After turning Roberts into the area, he made some crucial tackles on Bradshaw – but put the ball under pressure.

Bradshaw looked like the man in the corner – and he was nowhere to be found. A deep cross where Hogan found Diné had no effect on the attack. He was subbed off at half-time as the Blues changed shape.
He played as a second striker in the first half and was able to find space, but there were no teammates in attacking positions. It is attached to the top of the diamond and seems to be effective in pulling strings. An emphatic finish to the third season.
He created half a chance for himself in the first half, but his shot was weak at the keeper. A good rebound for Deeney resulted in a Blues goal – the highlight of a disappointing afternoon.
