Liverpool Vs Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham’s last game was against Norwich City on December 5. Since then, the club has been forced to cancel league games against Leicester City and Brighton, as well as a Europa League game against Rennes due to the outbreak of the new crown epidemic.

I’m just saying this game is still going on tomorrow. But, given how quickly things change, it may still be cancelled. On Monday, Premier League clubs will meet to discuss how to deal with the growing epidemic. Regardless of the outcome, Spurs will have some games to go in order to somehow accommodate a tight schedule.
The canceled games mean Spurs have three games less than most other clubs and are currently four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal. However, due to the busy Christmas season, the team needs to get involved quickly.
Manager Antonio Conte is known for wanting to spend as much time as possible in the training ground with his players instilling his ideas and specific approach to the game. His plans were severely disrupted by the absence of many players and staff due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While many have clearly recovered from isolation, fitness remains an issue and, given the option, Conte would like to have more time to work with the whole squad, not just those who have not contracted the virus.
Liverpool go into tomorrow’s game in excellent form. This team has won their last six games in the league, scoring 17 times. The only reason they are second, one point behind Manchester City, is because City are also playing close to perfection.

Before the cancellation, Spurs were in good form, unbeaten in their last four league games, winning their last three. Liverpool, however, is a big test. A glance at the league table shows the difference between these teams. Liverpool scored 48 goals – the most in the league – while Tottenham scored just 16.
Mohamed Salah is arguably in the best form of any player in the world. The Egyptian striker has 15 Premier League goals and nine assists this season. Every time he gets the ball, he looks dangerous. In addition, he has the strong support of Diogo Jota, who scored nine goals in the league.

For Spurs, star player Harry Kane has just one league goal so far. Although he has started to show signs of returning to form in the last few weeks, he will need goals to get back to his best form.
Liverpool Vs Tottenham Hotspur: Match Preview And Prediction
Liverpool are trying to keep up with Manchester City and increase their three points lead on Chelsea in the title race. Those three teams have looked much better than the others this season.
Spurs would be happy to finish in the top four and return to the Champions League. It was a task that seemed impossible until Conte arrived. Now it may not be so far away.
Forms are on the way. Spurs have not beaten Liverpool since 2017 and have lost the last seven meetings between the two sides, including the Champions League final two years ago. Tomorrow’s draw will be a good result for Tottenham. Liverpool and Tottenham will face each other today and they know that a win for both teams would be a big threat to their rivals’ chances of qualifying for European football.
Spurs finally played a united team in the second half on Thursday in a 2-2 draw with Manchester United, coming from two goals down in Ryan Mason’s first game back in charge.

They are six points behind United, who have played two more games and are one point behind Liverpool, who beat West Ham 2-1 in midweek with a game in hand.
Whichever team wins at Anfield this weekend is believed to make a last-minute bid for a Champions League place.
In the UK, the match will be shown live on Sky Sports, with Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event airing from 4pm.

Premier League 2021/22: Liverpool Vs Tottenham Hotspur H2h Match Preview
Joel Matip replaced the injured Iraima Konate at West Ham on Wednesday night and scored a header. Whether Konate will go back or Jurgen Klopp will stick with Matip remains to be seen.
Otherwise, the German’s recent team selection has been more consistent, favoring midfielder Curtis Jones and attack Diogorjota, with the likes of Darwin Nunes and Harvey Elliott on the bench. The Reds’ form has also improved and they are unbeaten in their last five games.
Mason returned Richarlison to Spurs’ starting line-up against Manchester United, but may want to recall Dejan Kulusevski in attack. Another change that may appear in the beginning of Ben Davis from March 18 after fighting the impact.

Mohamed Salah Double Helps Liverpool Hold Off Tottenham Hotspur And Claim First Away Win
Tottenham are finally back to life under Mason, but a trip to Anfield remains a tall order – Spurs haven’t won there in over a decade – so it could be too bad and too early.
With three wins on the bounce, Liverpool looked the same and should have won in a close game.
With a sloppy win, we hope you’ll help us pick Liverpool’s man of the match.
Strike Back Non Negotiable For Reds
That’s crazy, right? Liverpool traveled to London and Tottenham Hotspur after a midweek win over Napoli that nobody would call a spectacular performance, but they ended up winning 2-1 for a much-needed three points.
The Reds took a slight lead in the second half as Spurs realized they had the talent to work together without Son Heung-min, but Mohamed Salah’s first-half goal was enough to finish them off. Mo was able to get inside effectively, as his relationship with Darwin Nunes seemed to be growing – and Nunes actually helped Mo with the first goal – so our work in Egypt on Sunday seemed easier than in recent memory.
The work of Salah and Nunes also benefited from the return of Thiago Alcantara and Ibrahim Konate. They try to stay as calm as possible during the whole game. Konate calmly and consistently made things difficult for the Spurs front line (even if Trent Alexander-Arnold made stupid decisions like pushing people), broke up plays and generally panicked.
Thiago feels back in his commanding position in midfield and it’s refreshing to see him back, taking charge and making sure the team stays as connected as possible. His brain was messed up in the second half, but he was still useful.
