West Ham Vs Chelsea
The Blues, who were looking to improve on their odd season, fell behind in the 63rd minute when they failed to clear a corner and Declan Rice angled the ball over Antonio Carr’s line.

Thirteen minutes later, the home side equalized when Chilwell squeezed between two defenders to latch on to Thiago Silva’s long cross and slot the ball deftly between the legs of West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
Huertz completed the comeback in the 88th minute when he connected with Chilwell’s cross to make it 2-1 after West Ham substitute Maxwell Cornett had headed the post when he should have scored.
In the dying moments, Cornett thought he had equalized for West Ham, but his goal was disallowed after a VAR review ruled that Jarrod Bowen had fouled Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, a decision which West Ham disputed.
Manager David Moyes told the BBC: “It’s a disgraceful decision, one of the most arbitrary elite referees.

“I support a lot of the VAR stuff, I actually think the keeper does it, he gets injured because he doesn’t get the next goal – he did the same with the first goal. A referee who is wrong either way. Unbelievable.”
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel admitted his side were unlucky to score but said it was the right decision.
“We are doing it step by step now, we will try to use this momentum,” Tuchel was quoted as saying by the BBC. “Now everything is clear, we can ask for a full commitment on everything. We are in the process of building this and it is not finished.”
Tuchel made five changes from Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat at Southampton, giving Wesley Fofana his debut in central defence, recalling Conor Gallagher after his red card against Leicester City a week ago and handing a rare start to Christian Pulisic.

But Chelsea struggled to breach West Ham’s deep defensive lines in the first half, underlining why they moved for Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shortly before Thursday’s transfer deadline. Will Ham United start their comeback?
After the drama of the transfer window and especially transfer deadline day, it’s time for the more mundane bits of the football season, you know, the football itself!
For Chelsea, that means a visit to West Ham United on Saturday, for whom it is usually one of the biggest games of the year.
But it’s also an important fixture for the Blues after two dire defeats in their last three games. Deadline day (and the window as a whole) brought a lot of good vibes and excitement, but on the field our performance has been lacking, to say the least.

My guess is that all the new signings will be registered and available to play this weekend, apart from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who will miss several weeks after being assaulted and suffering facial injuries during an armed robbery at his home in Barcelona. This was expected. . . N’Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are also out, both with hamstring problems.
Conor Gallagher has served his suspension and should be available once again. And Rhys James and Travo Chaloba were seen in training yesterday with an illness and a sprained knee, so hopefully they’ll be back too.
